The LAN/WAN Support Administrator will ensure seamless network operations in India by independently resolving technical issues, providing on-call support, and conducting root cause analyses. This role is vital for maintaining high-quality customer service and satisfaction, contributing to the organization's operational excellence. The position requires proficiency in various networking technologies and protocols, strong troubleshooting skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Ansvarsområden

  • Provide technical support for LAN/WAN networking issues, troubleshooting and resolving incidents to meet Service Level Agreements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on escalated issues, identify underlying problems, and implement solutions.
  • Update and manage the knowledge base, document resolutions, and share best practices.
  • Train and mentor new team members and analysts, facilitating knowledge transfer.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience by optimizing first call resolution rates and minimizing case reopens.

Krav

  • Proficient in LAN/WAN technologies and protocols.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in network connectivity issues and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools and diagnostic software.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions independently.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective customer interaction and team collaboration.
  • Hands-on experience with Routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP).
  • Hands-on experience with LAN Switching (VLAN, VTP, STP, EtherChannel, CoS).
  • Hands-on experience with WAN (MPLS, MPLS/VPN, MP-BGP).
  • Hands-on experience with TCP/IP protocol suite and Quality of Service.
  • Hands-on experience with Application protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SMTP, SNMP, SSL etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with Network Security (IPSec VPN, AAA Architecture, TACACS+, RADIUS, firewalls).
  • Hands-on experience with Data Center Architecture (Network, Server, Storage).

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Optional but valuable: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent certifications.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of clearly communicating with customers at CIO, CXO level.
  • Must be open for 24x7 environment.
