Emerson is looking for an Accounts Payable Receivable Analyst in Escazú, Costa Rica. This hybrid role involves managing cash application, customer account reconciliations, and providing tax expertise for LAM countries, while also focusing on process improvement and documentation. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting, Business Management or Finance and proficiency in MS Office.

Ansvarsområden

  • Perform a variety of accounts receivables tasks related to Cash application.
  • Handle transactional activities and inquiries in payments received from customers.
  • Manage customer accounts reconciliations.
  • Provide tax expertise for LAM countries.
  • Focus on operational improvement/documentation and standard process development.
  • Use multiple systems for tracking, information gathering, researching, and entering documentation of communication with customers.
  • Perform timely and accurate application of daily receipts and reconcile cash balance to general ledger accounts daily.
  • Process and reconcile account receivable and remittances.
  • Resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
  • Follow up on unapplied and unidentified payments.
  • Answer inquiries and resolve routine issues within the credit to cash process.
  • Assist in the month-end close process.
  • Manage the cash application function with the goal of applying and posting all cash each month.
  • Document processes and ensure documentation is kept up to date.
  • Execute Cash Reporting (Weekly, Monthly) as needed.

Krav

  • Degree preferred in Accounting, Business Management or Finance.
  • Good written and oral English communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (MS Word and Excel).
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • 2 years in an accounts receivables Customer Service Representative position or accounts receivable representative role.
  • Experience in LAM cash applications and general understanding of tax.
  • Experience in transitions, stabilization and improvement of processes.
  • Practical knowledge of Oracle e-Business Suite is preferred.
