Volvo Group Accounting is seeking an Accountant - R2R in Bangalore with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance and at least 3 years of experience in general accounting, reconciliation, and month-end close processes. The role requires proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, BI tools, and experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
Ansvarsområden
- Cooperate with Volvo Group Partners
- Record business transactions related to sales accounting, general accounting, and process journal requirements
- Execute period-end close processes, reconcile systems, discuss with account/profit centre owners, and post journal entries
- Reconcile various balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Prepare and assist with review of recurring reporting packages, including financial statements and analysis
- Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements
- Maintain daily contact with clients within assigned areas of responsibility
- Participate in internal and external audits
- Understand interfaces and their impact on financial statements
- Adhere to Internal Control and SOX compliance
- Monitor and analyze business transactions according to Volvo Group Financial Policies and Procedures
- Perform SAP Master data maintenance – FI/CO
Krav
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance
- Minimum 3+ years of experience within General accounting, reconciliation, Month end close reporting processes, financial reporting
- Experience working with Advanced Excel, Power Point, BI tools
- Experience in GL, AP, AR, FA Module
- SAP Exposure/Other ERP
- End user experience in various source systems like Blackline, Feeder system / sub systems
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Strong analytical skills
- Solid knowledge about data validation, presentation and interpretation
- Fast learner, able to learn accounting flows in systems and transform data into usable information
- Thorough, detailed, and responsible
- Teamwork attitude and service-minded
- Good IT skills/technical expertise
- Flexible to work in shifts
- Commitment, self-reliance, and accuracy
- Ability to contribute various lean ideas and process improvement initiatives
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Preferable working experience in GL, AP, AR, FA Module, with SAP Exposure/Other ERP
- Preferable experience from the Manufacturing industry
- Shared service experience is a plus
