Alfa Laval is seeking an Accountant in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia for a full-time, on-site position. Responsibilities include managing accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department.

Ansvarsområden

Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger).
Maintain accurate accounting records in line with principles and reporting schedules.
Contribute to continuous improvement within the area of responsibility.
Collaborate with finance process counterparts.
Ensure accurate domestic supplier reconciliations.
Handle intercompany invoicing for cost reallocation.
Submit monthly GL reconciliations on time.
Maintain and reconcile GL (Suspense Account).
Prepare VAT return files and assist with VAT submission.
Collate and file VAT documents for audit purposes.
Prepare Withholding Tax (WH Tax) files.
Perform Bank and Cash postings and reconciliations.
Post Payroll, Leave, and Bonus journals.
Prepare Concur transactions payments and post to Scala.
Check Concur transactions and reconcile specific GL accounts.
Prepare and post monthly accruals.
Post monthly interest on lease liability journals.
Assist with year-end audit preparation and queries.
Provide GL accounting support to the Finance Manager.
Maintain and reconcile IFRS 16 schedules.
Manage company credit cards.
Update Sales and Stock Modules after review.
Update FTE Stats.
Assist with onboarding new suppliers and update Scala.
Coordinate with the bank.
Assist sales and service operation teams with financial information.
Process GOSI payments.
Coordinate with external consultants (Tax & Assurance).

Experience in Accounts Payable.
Experience in Accounts Receivable.
Experience in General Ledger management.
Knowledge of accounting principles.
Familiarity with reporting schedules.
Experience with domestic supplier reconciliations.
Experience with intercompany invoicing.
Experience preparing VAT return files and assisting with VAT submission.
Experience preparing WH Tax files.
Experience with bank and cash reconciliations.
Experience posting journal entries.
Experience with Concur transactions.
Experience preparing month-end accruals.
Experience posting interest on lease liability journals.
Experience with year-end audit preparation.
Experience with IFRS 16.
Experience managing company credit cards.
Experience updating accounting modules.
Experience with GOSI payments.
