We are seeking an Accountant for Accounting to Reporting to ensure accurate and timely recording of accounting transactions and prepare monthly group reports. This hybrid role in Cairo requires a university degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance, with experience in financial reporting and proficiency in MS Office applications.
Ansvarsområden
- Ensure accounting transactions are recorded accurately and on time, in accordance with Group policies.
- Report monthly group reports and manage the month-end closing process to meet deadlines.
- Provide BS and P&L analysis and prepare/review balance sheet reconciliations monthly.
- Analyze trends and deviations, and raise flags as required.
- Support business controllers, local entities, and Holdings with accounting/reporting advice and local statutory reporting.
- Provide high-quality customer service to business departments and controllers.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and respond to inquiries.
- Support automation initiatives by assisting in the implementation of automation tools.
- Assist in the audit process and provide necessary documentation to auditors.
- Prepare ad hoc reports to support the Business Controller and management.
- Follow other requirements given by the Team leader.
Krav
- University degree in Accounting, Business or Finance.
- Experience in financial reporting.
- Good command of English.
- End-user experience with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Analytical, proactive, solution-oriented, and deadline-respecting personality.
- Good communication skills.
- Well-organized and systematic.
- Team player, and willing to learn.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Experience +2 years in big 4 audit firms is a plus.
- Additional language is a plus.
- Experience with SAP is a big plus.
