Volvo Financial Services is seeking an Account Resolution Specialist in Greensboro, NC, to manage a portfolio of delinquent accounts, focusing on relationship management and incorporating collections into the resolution process. This role requires strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment, supporting the Account Resolution Team Leader and collaborating with various departments.
Ansvarsområden
- Determine the cause of default or delinquency and negotiate arrangements through payments, modifications, or repossession.
- Contact customers to obtain financial information for decision-making.
- Make discretionary decisions on accounts regarding likelihood of success and assistance needed.
- Prepare and direct customer correspondence according to regulatory requirements.
- Administer insurance proceeds to protect VFS assets and facilitate repairs.
- Review and route modification requests to Special Asset.
- Follow up on modifications post booking to ensure timely payments.
- Provide information and updates to the Syndication department.
- Verify and aid in correcting invalid Sec. of State status for corporate customers.
- Maintain documentation in Artiva/Infolease.
- Maintain customer contact to ensure each account is worked thoroughly.
- Maintain Delinquency quota per guidelines.
- Collect late fees and past due payments.
- Assure compliance with collection, repossession, credit reference policies, and legal requirements.
- Audit compliance as deemed by Corporate Guidelines.
Krav
- BA/BS in business or related field preferred and/or equivalent related experienced would be considered.
- 1-2 years progressive asset account management and/or collections experience in commercial banking, consumer lending, or equipment leasing.
- Proven ability to work in a cross-functional level, supporting other areas of the business and able to work under pressure producing timely work.
- Effective interpersonal skills with ability to interact favorably with customers, dealers and the sales force to effectively manage accounts and maintain relationships.
- Negotiation experience and comfort level with handling difficult conversations.
- Experience in multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Authorization to work in the USA.
- Sound knowledge of local, state and federal regulations along with FDCPA guidelines regarding collections and asset recovery.
- Strong PC skills (MS Office).
- Skip Tracing.
- Good financial counseling skills and the ability to effectively communicate the necessity of paying Volvo Financial Services.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- A high level of integrity and a positive customer and quality focus with ability to work within and in support of a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Self-starter and ability to work individually.
