Atlas Copco is looking for an Electrical Product Engineer in Wuxi, China, to design electrical systems for compressors, adapting them for local and global markets. The role involves circuit diagrams, component selection, wiring, PLC programming, cost evaluation, and design modifications. Prior experience in electrical engineering, PLC control, and electrical cabinet design is preferred, along with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Ansvarsområden

  • Design electrical systems for compressors, including circuit diagrams, component selection, and wiring.
  • Perform PLC program setup and adjustments.
  • Conduct basic maintenance tasks such as motor specification upgrades and product maintenance.
  • Provide support for field issues based on meetings with the after-sales team.
  • Evaluate design costs and quality.
  • Release design changes for localization and production line maintenance.
  • Ensure accuracy of designs and specifications using CAD (3D and 2D) and parts lists.
  • Collaborate with production, suppliers, and after-sales service departments for 'right first time' design.
  • Undertake basic product maintenance tasks beyond electrical duties.
  • Interact with other Atlas Copco design centers, using agreed design processes and tools.

Krav

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on automation control or electrical design.
  • Work experience in electrical engineering is preferred.
  • Experience with PLC control and logic control.
  • Experience in electrical control cabinet design.
  • Mandarin native speaker with good spoken and written English skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
  • Experience with CAD tools and MRP systems is a plus.
  • Willingness to undertake basic product maintenance tasks.
