Responsibilities
- Partner with a site operations team to execute company safety policies and ensure compliance.
- Leverage lean principles and kaizens to reduce conditional and ergonomic risk.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to ensure a safe working environment.
- Build trust and confidence with the Operations Team and influence change through risk assessments and safety data analysis.
- Instruct and train Operations Leaders in company safety policies.
- Assist operations site teams in incorporating safety standards.
- Identify best practices and incorporate them into company safety policies.
- Support assigned site(s), coordinate and assist in the implementation of Amazon WHS procedures and programs.
- Partner with site stakeholders to drive compliance with Amazon WHS standards, procedures, and local laws.
- Coach associates on new and existing WHS requirements.
- Partner with site operations and WHS leadership on day-to-day risks.
- Identify and escalate compliance risks and improvement opportunities through routine inspections and audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience in safety, environmental, or equivalent, or 3+ years of distribution or manufacturing field experience
- 2+ years of increasing responsibilities in EHS or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations experience

- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
