HCLTech is seeking a Senior Technical Lead for WebSphere Commerce Server and Java in Chennai. This role involves defining Incentive Compensation strategy, managing the SPM platform roadmap, and ensuring audit compliance. You will lead technical teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and design end-to-end data flows.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor technical teams in the design and development of solutions using websphere commerce server and java.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope.
  • Develop technical specifications and architecture designs for software solutions.
  • Ensure code quality by performing code reviews and implementing best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to suggest improvements and upgrades.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
  • Define the Incentive Compensation strategy.
  • Manage the roadmap for the SPM platform, including major upgrades and module expansions.
  • Partner with VP of Sales Ops and Finance Directors to align the system capabilities with the annual compensation strategy.
  • Design the end-to-end data flow, ensuring data integrity from the "Quote" (Salesforce) to the "Paycheck" (Workday/ADP).
  • Manage the annual "Plan Year Rollout" project, coordinating development, testing, and sign-off under tight deadlines.

Requirements

  • Architectural mastery of Varicent / IBM ICM.
  • Deep domain knowledge of Sales Performance Management (SPM) processes.
  • Experience with SOX Compliance and Audit controls.
  • Strong Leadership and Project Management skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Varicent Development.
  • Experience in leading technical teams and managing projects.
  • Knowledge of sdlc methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment and meet project deadlines.

Desired Qualifications

  • Certification in websphere commerce server or java is preferred but not mandatory.
