IKEA is seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate for their Perryville, Maryland location, working Wednesday to Saturday from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM. This role involves picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and storing goods, with a focus on customer satisfaction and contributing to warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage picking, packing, shipping, receiving, replenishment and storing of goods.
  • Contribute ideas and inputs to daily work goals and action plans.
  • Effectively unload and handle inbound/outbound goods.
  • Secure merchandise for safe movement within the distribution center.
  • Contribute to overall warehouse operations goals setting and implementation of local business plans.
  • Analyze existing workload to secure daily volume handling and meet seasonal fluctuation needs.
  • Remove and properly document all damages found or caused on inbound/outbound merchandise.
  • Assume responsibility for other assigned tasks and projects.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of related experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./30kgs ergonomically.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Fluent in English and local language, both written and spoken.

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse and forklift experience is preferred, but not required.
