Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement how the store is presented to customers.
  • Work with store layout, visual displays, lighting, and merchandising techniques.
  • Create inspiring and engaging room settings.
  • Ensure high quality and cost-conscious execution.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across multiple functions.
  • Assemble displays and room settings, use tools, and work at heights.

Requirements

  • Strong visual eye.
  • Interest in retail and customer experience.
  • Drive, curiosity, and motivation to learn and grow.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable making decisions.
  • Ability to juggle different priorities and stay focused when the pace is high.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience or education in visual merchandising, retail design, interior design, or a related field is considered an advantage.
  • Motivated by the IKEA concept, retail, and creating great customer experiences.
  • Ability to turn ideas into inspiring and commercially impactful solutions.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with change and shifting priorities.
  • Take ownership, communicate clearly, and drive tasks through to completion.
  • Collaborate effectively with a variety of people.
  • Enjoy a hands-on and physically active work environment.
