Responsibilities

  • Prepare VAT returns and reports for Swedish Volvo legal entities.
  • Support foreign VAT registrations.
  • Handle excise duties.
  • Ensure VAT reporting meets Swedish regulations, Swedish GAAP, and internal guidelines.
  • Contribute to the improvement and digitalization of VAT compliance processes.
  • Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing with colleagues.

Requirements

  • A university degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in accounting, or relevant experience from the Swedish Tax Authorities.
  • Strong grasp of financial processes and systems.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken Swedish and English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP Master Finance is beneficial, but not mandatory.
  • Experience or knowledge of excise duties is an asset, though not required.
  • Analytical skills to improve processes and embrace digital solutions.
  • Leveraging tax technologies such as Alteryx and Power BI.
  • Professional mindset and a genuine passion for VAT and accounting.
  • Integrity, ability to work independently and value collaboration.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with a problem-solving attitude.
