Electrolux is seeking a Utility Operator III for the 1st Shift in Springfield, TN. This role involves working on assembly lines, operating a powered industrial truck, testing and repairing appliances, and training new hires. A High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of experience in appliance repair or mechanical systems are required.

Responsibilities

Performs duties on assembly lines and/or operating a Powered Industrial Truck to provide plant-wide support.
Tests and repairs appliances.
Trains new associates on job tasks and assists in follow-up of quality issues.
Troubleshoots functional defects.
Repairs workmanship errors.
May perform other job duties as needed.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
1+ years' experience testing, repairing, and troubleshooting appliances or mechanical systems
1+ years' experience with assisting with quality issue resolution and process improvements
Must achieve Powered Industrial Lift Truck certification within 6 months of hire
Must achieve EMS Yellow Gear Certification within 30 days of hire and EMS Green Gear Certification within 12 months

Desired Qualifications

Ability to lift packages 40 lbs. or less on a consistent basis.
Ability to team lift any package greater than 35 lbs. but less than 71 lbs.
Ability to handle repetitive twisting, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, and bending.
Ability to spend long periods of time on your feet.
