As a Transportation Representative in Amazon's Network Operations Center (NOC) in Hyderabad, India, you will be responsible for managing transportation exceptions, ensuring timely pick-ups and deliveries, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities

Facilitate information flow between stakeholders (Trans Carriers/Hubs/Warehouses) and resolve issues impacting customer experience and business continuity.
Address potential issues during the lifecycle of pick-up to delivery (Inbound Operations) and from FC departure to customer premises (Outbound Operations).
Provide timely issue resolution by researching internal tools and making real-time decisions.
Communicate with external customers (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers) and internal customers (Retail, Finance, Software Support, Fulfillment Centers).
Pull data from numerous databases (Excel, Access, SQL) and perform ad hoc reporting and analysis.
Develop and/or understand performance metrics to drive business results.
Scope business and functional requirements for Amazon technology teams.
Quickly understand business impact of trends and make data-driven decisions.
Systematically escalate problems or variances to relevant owners and teams, and follow through on resolutions.
Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs, measuring and identifying activities performed.
Create written narratives of weekly findings and present them in a review forum.

Requirements

Experience in written and verbal communication skills to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.

Desired Qualifications

Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (macros, pivots, lookups) at an advanced level.
Basic understanding of Logistics.
Ability to communicate clearly in written and oral form.
Zeal to drive process improvements to conclusion.
