This role supports high-quality repairs and maintenance of Traction Motors, working closely with technicians and engineers to ensure customer satisfaction and safety. Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, technical, and timely repairs and maintenance to customers.
  • Assist with the assembly and disassembly of Traction Motors.
  • Repair and maintain ABB Traction Motors in the ABB workshop with high attention to detail.
  • Provide repairs and maintenance on the Traction Motor product range, focusing on customer satisfaction and quality reporting.
  • Adhere to the zero-harm policy and ensure safe working procedures are followed.
  • Complete submission of time records, IB reporting, and other relevant documentation.
  • Ensure time records are submitted according to guidelines and by the weekly deadline.
  • Maintain quality and consistency of service work through compliance with Motion Services processes.
  • Understand and follow ABB and Motion Services policies, procedures, and systems.

Requirements

  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Exposure to maintaining and repairing rotating equipment (Traction Motors desirable).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Well-organized with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Customer-focused with effective communication skills.
  • Commitment to safety and ABB work practices.
  • Flexible, reliable, and eager to learn.
