Responsibilities
- Manage staff within GTE/Cloud, GTE/Hosting and GTE/DMP to foster support for production services.
- Oversee and lead Service Management, ensuring availability, latency, and performance for Critical Applications.
- Drive the process of responding to Major incidents, minimizing downtime and business impact.
- Act as a primary point of contact for communicating incident status to senior management and stakeholders.
- Monitor systems and automate operational tasks to reduce manual work and improve efficiency.
- Partner closely with business stakeholders to align priorities and ensure production services meet objectives.
- Drive IT service transformation initiatives, including Cloud adoption and automation.
- Ensure GTE services adhere to regulatory requirements, security standards, and compliance for audits and risk.
- Implement robust Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery processes.
- Encourage a collaborative team culture focused on learning from incidents and continuous upskilling.
- Embed reliability goals into the daily workflow and drive innovation.
Requirements
- Manage staff within GTE/Cloud, GTE/Hosting and GTE/DMP.
- Ensure oversight of incidents during Asia hours and Paris Morning hours.
- Structure the team for constant collaboration, shared incident management, and regular reviews.
- Oversee and lead Service Management for Critical Applications within GBTO.
- Drive incident response model for business-critical applications.
- Communicate incident status, impact, and recovery to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Monitor key incident trends and metrics, publish reports and insights.
- Monitor systems and automate operational tasks.
- Availability during APAC Business hours (5:30 AM to 3:00 PM IST).
- Partner with business stakeholders to align GTE priorities.
- Drive IT service transformation initiatives.
- Ensure GTE services adhere to local regulatory requirements, group security standards, and be compliant for internal audits and risk.
- Propose market trends and tooling-based solutions.
- Ensure robust Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) processes.
- Ensure compliance with periodic BCDR drills and reviews.
- Encourage a collaborative team culture focused on learning from incidents, postmortems, and upskilling in cloud.
- Embed reliability goals into the daily workflow.
- Drive Innovation culture within teams.
