Responsibilities

  • Participate in functional and technical discussions with clients and team members to understand specifications and identify concerns.
  • Prepare automated test scripts using Java and related Android testing tools.
  • Develop and continuously improve automated tests for new system features using tools like Appium and Espresso.
  • Create work plans and monitor the work schedule to ensure timely delivery.
  • Create a reusable and scalable test automation framework using tools like Selenium and Junit.
  • Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans, maintain test data, and submit status reports.
  • Guide and mentor QA engineers in the effective use of the testing framework.
  • Enhance technical capabilities and productivity of QA engineers through knowledge sharing and training.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Android testing using tools such as Espresso, Appium, and Junit.
  • Solid understanding of Java programming for test automation.
  • In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
  • Experience in creating and managing automated test scripts and frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Desired Qualifications

  • ISTQB Certified Tester, Certified Agile Tester (CAT), or relevant Android development/testing certifications are optional but valuable.
