Responsibilities

Handle technical inquiries related to Edwards products, either by assigning them to subject matter experts or responding directly.
Collaborate with Product Development teams for complex cases.
Lead the design and industrialization of derivative products based on customer requirements.
Escalate new product development scope to Project Managers.
Lead cross-functional teams for technical investigations and root cause analysis of issues.
Develop and implement corrective actions.
Lead end-to-end activities for continuous production in response to risks like part obsolescence or supplier changes.
Identify and implement alternative components or solutions to mitigate supply risks.
Lead engineering change activities.
Coordinate cross-functionally for smooth implementation of engineering changes.
Prepare and review technical drawings and product specifications.
Maintain knowledge of relevant standards and regulatory compliance (ISO, CE, UL, RoHS).
Provide guidance, mentoring, and development support to junior engineers.

Requirements

Mechanical engineering background.
Experience in technical support.
Experience in leading cross-functional teams for investigations and root cause analysis.
Experience in product development and industrialization.
Familiarity with engineering change management processes.
Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations: ISO, CE, UL, and RoHS.

Desired Qualifications

Ability to handle complex cases beyond the Technical Support team’s capability.
Ability to escalate and transfer tasks when scope or complexity is equivalent to new product development.
Ability to mentor junior engineers.
