HCLTech is seeking a Technical Specialist with 10 years of experience in SAP Data Migration, specifically for SAP S/4HANA projects. The role requires expertise in tools like SAP BODS, Autosys, SQL Server, and hands-on experience with migration management and tools such as LSMW and Data Migration Cockpit. The ideal candidate will also possess strong analytical skills and customer-facing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and executing data migration activities for SAP S/4 HANA migration projects.
  • Develop appropriate Migration programs using tools like BODS, LSMW / BDC etc.
  • Develop appropriate quality checks to support source to data verification activities.
  • Assist in developing a comprehensive data migration strategy and plan, considering data quality, mapping, extraction, cleansing, and validation.
  • Coordinate and support the technical migration team during the technical design and release, focusing on migration cockpit and Data Services.
  • Ensure client management through prior customer-facing roles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including those working on interfaces.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of proven experience working in SAP Data Migration with 2-3 full lifecycle implementation of SAP S/4HANA migration/rollout projects.
  • Expert level experience working with BODS, IDOC's, BAPI's, LTMC etc.
  • Hands-on experience of working with SAP data migration tools – Data Services, Data Migration Cockpit, Rapid Data Migration, LSMW.
  • Proficient in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge & Technical Solution Design.
  • Prior customer-facing roles to ensure client management is mandatory.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and people skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams, including teams working on interfaces.
  • Servant leadership mindset to drive the migration team.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on SAP Data Services is preferred.
  • Good SAP process knowledge required for data migration to work with cross-functional teams in gathering migration requirements and migration rules.
  • Understanding of business Processes in SAP with proven experience of working as an SAP functional consultant would be a plus.
  • Knowledge of ABAP Development Programming Skills.
  • Understanding of MDG or related work experience would be a nice to have.
  • Additional migration tool (like Informatica, Syniti ADMM) knowledge is added advantage.
  • Knowledge in SAP Information Steward is an added advantage.
