Job Summary

Description
Digital Services is looking for an Java Developer that could be: 
•             Responsible for capturing additional detail information needed for the detailed design, construction and testing of the software units
•             Responsible for the detailed design, coding, unit testing and documentation of software units
•             Participates in estimation and planning of development, deployment and operation activities.
•             Responsible for effort estimation of development of a software unit based on provided design specification
•             Responsible for working closely with application architects.
The work shall be carried out in our premises at Bangalore.
The Developer is responsible for detail designing and developing software units in accordance with the project adopted standards, definitions and specifications.
Skills:
Must have experience of: Java 8 or later, Async programming (Completable future), Hibernate / JPA, PostgreSQL, Spring/springboot, WS-Restful, JMS, AWS Cloud, Serverless
Nice to have: Agile / Continuous Integration, Git, Junit, Maven, Jboss EAP 5/6, Jboss/webspere MQ, MongoDB JIRA, Jenkins, Nexus, Confluence, Memcache

Key Responsibilities

1. To be responsible for providing technical guidance / solutions ;define, advocate, and implement best practices and coding standards for the team.
2. To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity
3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
4. To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.
