We are looking for a Technical Lead responsible for managing technology in projects and providing technical guidance and solutions. The role involves developing team capabilities, ensuring process compliance, and defining/implementing best practices. Minimum of 6+ years of experience is required, with a strong focus on building secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance and solutions to the team.
  • Define, advocate, and implement best practices and coding standards.
  • Develop team members' technical capabilities and increase productivity.
  • Ensure process compliance in assigned modules.
  • Participate in technical discussions and reviews as a technical consultant for feasibility studies.
  • Prepare and submit status reports to minimize exposure and risks.
  • Design cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available on AWS.
  • Deploy applications with Java and tomcat.
  • Collaborate with the Application Development team to define infrastructure and deployment requirements.
  • Provision, configure, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure as code.
  • Build and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of AWS infrastructure and systems.
  • Perform infrastructure cost analysis and optimization.
  • Conduct pre-production acceptance testing for quality assurance.
  • Provision critical system security using best practices and cloud security solutions.
  • Provide recommendations for architecture and process improvements.
  • Define and deploy systems for metrics, logging, and monitoring on the AWS platform.
  • Troubleshoot problems across a wide array of services and functional areas.
  • Ensure availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS production systems.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience building Cloud solutions.
  • Experience in Linux administration.
  • Experience with AWS ECS, Docker, Jenkins, CICD Pipelines in AWS.
  • Experience deploying applications with Java, tomcat.
  • Experience with CloudWatch, CheckMK.
  • Experience with AWS infrastructure (VPC, VPC Peering, EC2, Security Groups, IAM, ECS, Auto-Scaling, CloudFront, S3, CloudFormation, Subnet, Route table, Elastic Network interface, Internet Gateway, NAT Gateway, Network ACL, Direct Connect, VPN, CLI, SDK, Lambda, Batch and Step Functions and API gateway).
  • Experience with Lambda, CloudWatch, Systems Manager, S3, VPC, Route 53, IAM, WAF & Shield, API Gateway, Global Accelerator.
  • Experience with Docker, Ansible.
  • Experience with Terraform, Redis cache.
  • Experience with Python, Bash Scripting.
  • At least 5 years of experience (likely a typo in source, continuing from 6+ years requirement).
