HCLTech is seeking a Golang Backend Developer with 5+ years of experience for a Technical Lead role. The position involves designing and building scalable backend applications and high-performance microservices, with a focus on cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build scalable backend applications.
  • Develop high-performance microservices, APIs, and distributed systems using Go (Golang).
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, DevOps engineers, and QA teams.
  • Utilize Go routines, channels, concurrency patterns, and core Go libraries.
  • Work with REST/gRPC APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Use Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Linux environments.
  • Work with SQL/NoSQL databases, caching, message queues, and performance optimization.
  • Write clean, testable, maintainable code; participate in code reviews, debugging, and production support.
  • Guide junior developers and support agile delivery.

Requirements

  • Golang Backend Developer with 5+ years of experience.
  • Strong experience in designing and building scalable backend applications.
  • Good experience in developing high-performance microservices, APIs, and distributed systems using Go (Golang).
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Go routines, channels, concurrency patterns, and core Go libraries.
  • Experience in REST/gRPC APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Linux environments.
  • Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases, caching, message queues, and performance optimization.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and mentoring skills.
  • B. Tech / M. Tech / MCA degree.

Desired Qualifications

  • Location: Chennai / Nagpur (as per requirement)
  • Work Mode: WFO / Hybrid (No WFH commitment)
