Responsibilities
- Work with the Center manager to ensure smooth function of Amazon transportation operations in Pune.
- Execute the delivery process from delivery station to customer address.
- Ensure sufficient bandwidth in the delivery team for peak time delivery management.
- Continuously improve the delivery process and attain a sustained level of delivery performance improvement.
- Understand business issues and challenges of transportation operations, identify strengths/weaknesses, and suggest improvements.
- Map business requirements, understand business processes, analyze workflows, design solutions, and prepare functional specifications.
- Be data-driven, develop and report performance metrics, executive updates, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to identify opportunities for improving Customer Experience.
- Deep dive and acquire extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices and apply them to solve business problems.
- Design, develop, pilot, and roll out enterprise-wide programs for performance improvement, cycle time improvement for returns, delivery experience, financial auditing, and identification of alternate delivery services.
Requirements
- 1+ years of customer-facing environment, warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
- Strong execution skills, action-oriented, go-getter.
- Resourceful to identify ways to get things done using limited resources.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity for the team in evolving situations.
- Ability to work in a customer-obsessed, fast-paced environment that fosters high ownership and quick decision-making.
