Responsibilities
- Act as a design authority for low to medium complexity engineering assignments.
- Contribute to proposal, design, and execution phases of automation projects.
- Apply design-for-excellence principles to deliver cost-effective and reliable solutions.
- Review customer technical specifications and design DCS cabinets.
- Develop and verify hardware deliverables including system architecture, BOMs, GA drawings, and schematics.
- Apply standard engineering practices, guidelines, and checklists.
- Support proposal and project engineering by identifying technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions.
- Provide technical support during factory testing, installation, commissioning, and site acceptance activities.
- Contribute to FEED, detailed design, and execution of ICSS and PPM systems.
- Work on ABB 800xA platforms (power, grounding, field cabling, and IO wiring).
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering from a reputed university (full-time).
- 5–15 years of relevant experience in hardware design or automation engineering.
- Experience supporting automation proposals (DCS, ESD, FGS).
- Experience in preparation of deliverables - System Architecture, Bill of materials, General Arrangement Drawings, Schematic etc.
- Experience with system hardware, cabinet design, and engineering documentation.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and project-based environments.
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to industries such as Oil & Gas, Refineries, Petrochemicals, Chemicals, Power, or Water.
