Responsibilities

  • Lead local supply chain processes and ensure alignment with global requirements.
  • Oversee local supply chain operations, ensuring seamless alignment between supply and demand.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customers, suppliers, product group, and operations, to improve efficiency.
  • Drive digital transformation and integrate advanced technologies and data analytics into local supply chain processes.
  • Manage data integrity and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
  • Act as the single point of contact for factory-related supply chain knowledge and competence.
  • Ensure demand plans/forecasts align with material and capacity needs.
  • Manage inventory, production planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead the local S&OP meetings from an operations perspective.
  • Standardize, optimize, and monitor local supply chain processes following approved SOPs.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain operations.
  • Participate in making the factory operational plan.
  • Propose and implement training programs for supply chain competence.
  • Drive optimization activities for net zero programs and energy/cost savings.
  • Analyze supply requirements and review forecasts with suppliers and production management.
  • Establish inventory classifications (ABC) and corresponding standardized supply schedules.
  • Utilize ERP system for all activities to provide supply chain visibility.
  • Build relationships within the factory, global business unit, and product group.
  • Review and update supply chain practices in alignment with environmental policies and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with Alfalaval’s Business Principles and Compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Above 5 years of management responsibility.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Knowledgeable in ERP systems for effective supply chain management.
  • Solid English proficiency, both written and oral.
  • Ability to analyze data and leverage improvement tools (e.g., 5S, Lean and Six Sigma, Kaizen).
  • Skilled in diagramming supply chain processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of production processes, manufacturing, and supply chain management.
  • Understanding of accounting and finance related to purchasing and inventory control.
