What you’ll do:

  • Lead and develop the Supplier Quality team supporting safety critical automotive components.

  • Own supplier qualification, performance management, and continuous improvement activities.

  • Drive supplier quality KPIs including NCM, audit performance, and TNQC

  • Ensure effective supplier APQP, PPAP, and launch readiness for new programs and engineering changes.

  • Lead supplier issue containment, root cause analysis, and corrective actions using 8D, and structured problem-solving methods.

  • Plan and execute supplier audits to ensure compliance with IATF 16949, CQI standards, and customer-specific requirements.

  • Act as the primary quality escalation point for supplier-related risks, including customer incidents and field issues.

  • Partner with Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Program teams to align sourcing and quality risk decisions.

What you’ll need:

  • Engineering Degree (Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Aerospace or similar).

  • 5+ years of related experience

  • Knowledge of IATF 16949

  • Negotiation Skills

  • People Skills (Soft Skills)

  • Leadership

  • Good Communication

  • English language proficiency is required

Spanish or Mandarin knowledge are considered a plus
