Job Summary

Role: AWS Cloud Engineer (DevOps & Cloud Automation) Role Overview We are looking for an AWS Cloud Engineer with a strong DevOps and automation mindset to design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments. This role focuses on enabling faster releases through CI/CD, infrastructure as code (IaC), and cloud-native architecture

Key Responsibilities

 Key Responsibilities • Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on AWS (including GovCloud). • Build and maintain end-to-end cloud environments across development, test, and production with a focus on reliability and performance. • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to accelerate deployments and reduce manual effort. • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation and/or Terraform for automated provisioning. • Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to design hybrid and multi-cloud solutions. • Manage full application stack including compute, storage, networking, and middleware layers. • Design and implement cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, ELB, Lambda, etc.). • Ensure infrastructure aligns with security, compliance, and performance standards. • Contribute to automation, monitoring, and optimization of cloud environments.

Skill Requirements

Core Skills & Experience • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, ELB, Lambda, VPC). • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – CloudFormation (mandatory) and/or Terraform. • Experience with CI/CD tools – Jenkins, GitHub, Maven, Artifactory, SonarQube, Ansible. • Proficiency in scripting and programming – Python (mandatory), Node.js preferred. • Experience building and managing cloud-based application environments. • Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows system administration. • Experience with application servers (WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat). • Working knowledge of networking, storage, and security architecture on AWS. • Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments is a plus. • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work in fast-paced environments.

Other Requirements

Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline. • 8-10 years of experience in cloud/DevOps engineering in distributed environments. • AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional) preferred. • Experience with automation/config management tools (e.g., Puppet, Ansible).
