AWS Infrastructure Services seeks a Sr Tech Infra Program Manager in Mumbai, Maharashtra to lead cross-functional teams in delivering data center capacity. This role requires extensive program management experience, financial expertise, and technical understanding to manage complex infrastructure projects from planning to execution, ensuring on-time and cost-effective delivery.

Responsibilities

Owns delivery of new Data Centers across one or more availability zones in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
Manages delivery of approximately 5 projects at any given time.
Bridges internal customers, business functions (Planning, Finance, Procurement, Legal, Policy, Operations), and functional delivery teams (Construction, Commissioning, Controls, Fiber and Network) to enable on-time and right-sized delivery of new DC capacity.
Guides and develops partner teams to accomplish regional goals.
Scope begins with early expansion planning, including feasibility analysis to approve expansion plans and associated build timelines.
Evaluates multiple factors prior to approving a new plan of record, including owned/leased/collocated DC supply, utility delivery (power, water, and fiber), and long lead equipment (LLE) availability.
Requires region-wide knowledge and monitoring of in-flight projects, major risks, and remediation efforts.
Manages a combination of metrics, tools, and mechanisms to remain aware of ongoing risks or issues requiring action, decision, mitigation, or effort to identify alternative solutions.
Communicates up, down, and across the organization to align direction, gain support, and drive remediation efforts.

Requirements

5+ years of program management or technical project management experience.
4+ years of project management experience.
Experience in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management.
Experience in construction of data center delivery (design, commissioning and construction), mission critical facilities, or equivalent industrial/manufacturing facility builds.
Knowledge of mission critical systems (data centers, hospitals, power plants, military facilities, etc.).
Exceptionally strong communicator (both written and verbal).
Relevant experience in managing technical and strategic programs.

Desired Qualifications

Background in program and project management, architecture/design, mechanical/electrical engineering, software/hardware engineering managing a team with a strong urge to learn (if no prior data center deployment experience).
