Responsibilities
- Designing, documenting, and reviewing software designs and requirements
- Software development – Designing, Coding and testing PLC software modules
- Software development – Designing, Coding and testing HMI software modules
- Hands-on testing using real equipment (vacuum pumps, abatement, precursor delivery system, etc.) and simulators to test and validate software functionality
- Designing and executing performance and optimization
- Participating in Peer Review, Design Reviews, Code Reviews, and Walkthroughs etc.
- Implementing the development, maintenance and execution of automated tests
- Documentation covering requirements, design, software result, test plans
- Collating and validating requirements with stakeholders prior to commencing development
Requirements
- Experience in designing, developing, enhancing and testing PLC and HMI software
- Proficiency in coding PLC software modules
- Proficiency in coding HMI software modules
- Experience with hands-on testing using real equipment and simulators
- Experience in designing and executing performance and optimization
- Experience in participating in Peer Review, Design Reviews, Code Reviews, and Walkthroughs
- Experience in implementing development, maintenance and execution of automated tests
- Experience with documentation covering requirements, design, software result, test plans
- Experience in collating and validating requirements with stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of vacuum pumps, abatement, and precursor delivery systems is a plus.
