ASSA ABLOY is looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst in Lake Forest, California, to support financial planning and analysis in a fast-growing business segment, particularly within a manufacturing environment. This hybrid role requires strong analytical skills, advanced Excel, and experience with financial modeling and P&L analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to drive customer pricing, programming, promotions, and new product investment decisions.
  • Drive monthly close process including accruals, variance investigation, and financial reporting, identifying key business drivers and trends against historical performance and forecast.
  • Deliver in-depth monthly analysis of P&L results and prepare executive-level management presentations to inform strategic decision-making; includes margin performance, pricing analytics, and operational KPIs.
  • Provide actionable financial insights to assess risks and uncover opportunities, proactively identifying issues and recommending solutions to achieve financial commitments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a financial analyst role.
  • Strong ability to communicate analysis and recommendations to a non-technical audience.
  • Advanced Excel skills are required.

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of business forecasting and financial modeling.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional coordination.
  • Comprehensive understanding of P&L analysis, covering revenue, COGS, and operating margin.
