We are looking for a Sr Administrator (Support & Operations) in Chennai, India, with 4-8 years of experience in Network Operations (L2 support). The role requires strong knowledge of networking protocols, scripting, and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on automation and incident management. Bachelor's degree and CCNA certification are mandatory.

Responsibilities

Adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Provide support for complex incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions for technical & security issues.
Engage in value-adding activities like knowledge base updates, training, and coaching analysts.
Resolve complex tickets within SLAs and collaborate with other teams for seamless operations.
Ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution and mitigating security threats.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT.
Switching & Routing fundamentals (CCNA-level minimum).
Wireless networking knowledge.
Hands-on scripting experience, preferably Python or any coding background.
Experience in automation-driven network operations.
Ability to troubleshoot network performance, connectivity, and quality issues.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Ability to handle high-pressure incident scenarios.
Structured and process-compliant approach (critical for L2 role).
4–8 years of relevant experience in Network Operations (L2 support).
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or equivalent).
CCNA certification is mandatory.

Desired Qualifications

Familiarity with network automation frameworks/tools is a plus.
CCNP / Automation certifications are preferred.
