This role involves understanding customer needs, recommending solutions, and delivering end-to-end network designs across radio, transport, and core. The position requires significant experience in radio access network design and optimization, particularly with 4G and 5G technologies.

Responsibilities

Design and optimize radio access networks, with a focus on 4G and 5G.
Provide technical advice and presales support for network design and optimization services, software, and products.
Understand customer needs and recommend solutions that address their technical and business goals.
Develop, explain, and deliver complex end-to-end solutions across radio, transport, core network, and devices.
Plan and implement customer solutions within agreed time, scope, and cost.
Manage expectations, resolve issues, and support customer acceptance of delivered work.
Improve service offerings and contribute ideas based on customer and market needs.
Share knowledge with colleagues and customers.

Requirements

+5 years of experience in radio access network design and optimization.
A degree in electrical, electronics, telecommunications engineering, information technology, or a related field.
Deep technical expertise in radio access network design and optimization, with experience consulting and leading people.
Knowledge of 4G and 5G, including LTE, VoLTE, carrier aggregation, uplink/downlink coordination, ENDC, NR NSA, and VoNR; familiarity with TCP, UDP, and IP.
End-to-end knowledge across radio access, transport, packet core, and devices; 5G network design and optimization experience is an advantage.
Experience with Ericsson Radio System, Ericsson Network Manager, Ericsson Packet Core, 5G Core, and network configuration concepts.
Experience working with performance data, including events, counters, cell traces, baseband traces, and configuration settings; familiarity with ENIQ, ITK, Ericsson Performance Platform, MOM parameters, and system constants.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with experience using advanced data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Experience with drive-test and analysis tools such as TEMS Investigation, NEMO, XCAL, QXDM, Romes, TEMS Discovery, NEMO Analyze, XCAP, or QCAT.
Working knowledge of QGIS, MongoDB, MS SQL or another relational database query language, and Python.
The ability to collaborate across teams, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and lead work toward a clear outcome.

Desired Qualifications

5G network design and optimization experience is an advantage.
Knowledge of Cloud-RAN, machine learning, and artificial intelligence is an advantage.
