Software QA Engineer

Responsibilities
- Own and execute system test strategy across end-to-end workflows, integrations.
- Apply AI/ML-based testing approaches such as test generation, test optimization, anomaly detection, and failure prediction.
- Leverage Copilot and GenAI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to accelerate test development, refactoring, documentation, and root-cause analysis.
- Write Python Automation test plans which define the automation strategy and test cases for new features / Solution Test / System Test.
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge and testing skill in Optical technologies L0/L1
- Hands on experience with Transponder, Amplifiers, Optical Line system products

- Software test concepts, Test planning, Execution
Desired Qualifications
- Excellent knowledge and testing skill in Optical technologies
- Quick learner with an open mind to "grey box" testing, bringing in strategic on-the-box, off-the-box views that reflect the state of IOS-XR systems.
- Experience in test engineering concepts and methodologies including test planning, test case design, test execution and test automation.
- Experience with automation (TCL, Python), automation test tools and methodologies is required.
- Excellent experience in Layer-0, Layer-1 traffic generators and analysers (e.g. Viavi, Agilent, Spirent, IXIA, etc.).
- Strong written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Typically requires MS/BS in EE/CS combined with 1-3 years proven experience.
