Qualcomm is seeking a skilled Software Engineer for their Windows on Snapdragon product lines. This role involves end-to-end development of build systems, release processes, and dev tools, requiring expertise in Python, C#, and full-stack development. You will collaborate with internal and external teams to support and troubleshoot Qualcomm chipsets.

Responsibilities

Act as a key member of an Agile Scrum Team.
Play a pivotal role in the end-to-end lifecycle of Windows-on-Snapdragon product lines.
Gather requirements, design, and develop improvements to Windows-on-Snapdragon continuous integration build systems.
Improve software release process and developer operations tools.
Coordinate with internal and external teams to bring up, support, triage, and unblock issues on Qualcomm chipsets.
Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using Python and C#.
Implement front-end interfaces using ASP.net, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Design and maintain SQL databases, write efficient SQL queries, and optimize database performance.
Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell, CMD, and BAT for automation.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Strong software development skills.
Full-Stack developer with expertise in Python and C#.
Strong background in both front-end and back-end development.
History of delivering high-quality software solutions.
Ability to lead and independently develop features and technical solutions.
Solid understanding and practical experience in version control (Git, Perforce).
Embedded Windows software and good programming skills.
Solid understanding of Operating System concepts.
Windows and/or Linux kernel and development experience.
Strong understanding of Python, C/C++/C#, SQL, Shell Scripting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem solving and debugging skills.
Ability to coordinate across stakeholders and drive towards task completion.

Desired Qualifications

Master's Degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
5+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
C# and Python programming experience.
MS SQL Database experience.
Windows OS internals knowledge and experience.
Device driver programming and debugging with WinDbg, JTAG/other tools.
Processor architecture and cache subsystem.
Experience with PC software - System BIOS, UEFI, ACPI, Drivers, Applications.
Experience with Jenkins and Artifactory.
Experience with Windows driver development.
Proficiency in using Visual Studio as an integrated development environment.
ARM assembly.
Embedded OS (Kernel architecture, OS services heap, memory, multi-core, multi-threading, and crash debugging).
Knowledge of OS/system performance profiling and optimization techniques.
Communication, written & interpersonal skills, motivation, the ability to learn quickly.
