Electrolux is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Test with Java/Kotlin expertise to join their Tech team in Bangalore. This role involves end-to-end test automation for major digital initiatives, including CRM, AI, and e-commerce systems, within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). The position offers a hybrid work environment and focuses on framework development, test script creation, and collaboration to ensure high-quality digital solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to, maintain, and enhance the test automation framework.
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and reusable test automation scripts for UI, API, and database layers.
  • Collaborate with QA leads and developers to define automation strategies and integrate them into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Regularly run automated tests, analyze results, and troubleshoot test failures.
  • Investigate test failures and identify root causes, providing quick fixes.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, DevOps, and product owners.
  • Mentor junior team members on automation best practices.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient automation code and perform code reviews.
  • Set up or manage basic test data for automated runs.
  • Document automated tests and update test coverage and automation status in tracking tools like Jira or TestRail.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in at least one of the following programming languages: ReactJs, Next.js, .NET, Java, JavaScript, Python, or Kotlin.
  • Hands-on experience testing/developing API.
  • Proven experience in building test frameworks, application development, and working with Git.
  • Solid experience with API automation testing, microservices solutions, and setting up CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or similar.
  • Great experience with Docker or similar.
  • Experience in working in an Agile environment.
  • Proficient in cross-functional communication.
  • Hands-on experience with the latest development tools and processes, DevOps practices, and cloud solutions like Azure, AWS, or similar.
  • Experience with Robot Framework, Selenium Grid, and reporting tools like Grafana, Report Portal, or similar.
  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Desired Qualifications

  • Desired hands-on experience testing order fulfillment for e-commerce with main focus on SAP Commerce (ccv2) and SAP ECC SD/MM.
