Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-scale, low-latency services.
  • Deliver high quality code that is maintainable, performant, and testable.
  • Conduct efficient design and architectural discussions.
  • Lead and facilitate technical discussions, encouraging inclusivity.
  • Collaborate with multiple partner teams for seamless integration.
  • Drive effective project management and delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
  • Pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with application usage telemetry insights, modern licensing and payment systems is a plus.
  • Experience in C# and .Net is a plus.
  • Experience in Spark, Python, data engineering and data modelling.
  • Proven ability to conduct efficient design and architectural discussions.
  • Solid communication and leadership skills, with a focus on fostering an inclusive and supportive team environment.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding project environment and drive effective discussions and outcomes.

Benefits

  • Base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $102,100 - $202,200 per year.
  • Specific range for San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area is USD $133,800 - $219,200 per year.
