Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, secure, and reliable solutions for Azure Data services.
- Improve test coverage, implement integration tests, and address issues.
- Automate production and deployment processes.
- Uphold compliance with security, privacy, safety, and accessibility standards.
- Integrate telemetry and data analytics to monitor system health.
- Maintain live service operations and respond promptly to incidents.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
- Active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with Polygraph.
- Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Verification of U.S. citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions.
- Ability to meet federal government customer requirements, including verification of stated security clearance prior to an offer of employment.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or IT technical discipline.
- Experience coordinating resources across diverse teams to restore service and maintain SLAs.
- ITIL certification is preferred.
- Ability to analyze network and performance monitor traces, application performance problems, and windows application and crash-dump.
- Ability to conceptualize a distributed service, its dependencies, and the transactional flow when troubleshooting across various layers.
- High enthusiasm, integrity, ingenuity, results-orientation, self-motivation, and resourcefulness.
- Deep desire to work collaboratively, solve problems with groups, and find win/win solutions.
- Excited by the challenge of hard technical problems with great curiosity and willingness to question.
- Passion and empathy for customers.
- Strong communication skills.
