Responsibilities
- Independently own and deliver complex technical projects with minimal guidance.
- Write high-quality code and design scalable solutions that meet team goals.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and pair programming.
- Share best practices and help elevate the technical skills of teammates.
- Partner effectively with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Contribute to technical discussions and help build consensus on design decisions.
- Follow and advocate for effective development processes.
- Write well-tested code with minimal defects and contribute to system reliability and operational excellence.
- Proactively identify technical risks and dependencies, escalating them appropriately with proposed solutions.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing, to diverse audiences.
- Understand team goals and contribute to technical strategy discussions.
- Make sound technical decisions within your scope of ownership and align work with broader team objectives.
- Provide technical leadership to the team, drive best practices, mentor other engineers, and drive continuous improvements in engineering excellence.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
