Responsibilities

  • Build large-scale, high-availability, low-latency distributed systems.
  • Design, implement, test, release, and maintain high-complexity software.
  • Propose, develop, and refine innovative solutions for production.
  • Be the end-to-end owner of critical components for Amazon's compliance.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability, and scaling of new and existing systems).
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Desired Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Experience building systems optimized for relationships (or graph).
