As a Software Development Engineer II on the Account Compliance Tech team, you will design and build advanced distributed systems to ensure Amazon's marketplace integrity and compliance. Responsibilities

  • Design and build software that is extensible to different use cases, products, and geographies with minimal incremental tech effort.
  • Develop systems that can trigger necessary verifications under applicable policies.
  • Implement solutions to store verification decisions for re-use, reducing duplicative checks.
  • Create vendible software to any authorized user via API.
  • Design and develop custom distributed systems that are more advanced than standard industry practices.
  • Develop data-centric systems to detect patterns across Amazon's customer population in real-time.
  • Build adaptive systems capable of detecting new modus operandi as they develop.
  • Ensure systems are highly available, low latency, and of high quality.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems.
  • 3+ years of experience in the Video Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops).
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Desired Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
