We are seeking a Software Development Engineer II to build AI-driven automation systems for Prime Video's live event playback operations. This role involves developing intelligent systems and operational tooling to manage live events and ensure seamless customer experiences, impacting millions of viewers globally.

Responsibilities

  • Develop AI-powered operational intelligence systems for live event health and intervention.
  • Build agentic incident response frameworks for automated remediation.
  • Create scalable agentic pipelines for event lifecycle management.
  • Design customer-centric quality assessment systems for playback evaluation.
  • Implement predictive analytics to identify and prevent potential failures.
  • Develop operational tooling and dashboards for real-time system visibility.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability and scaling of new and existing systems).
  • 3+ years of programming with at least one software programming language.

Desired Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience (coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, operations).
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Experience in machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics, or natural language processing.
