Ericsson is seeking a Software Developer Intern in Sunway, Selangor Darul Ehsan, Malaysia, to contribute to crafting and implementing comprehensive solutions. The role involves application and technical architecture design, coding of software components, and support during testing, with a focus on Java/J2EE technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code.
  • Develop prototype plans for enterprise systems, including key features and integration strategies.
  • Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions.

Requirements

  • College/University student with an inclination in development (Java technology) and ready to learn new languages (Python etc.).
  • Strong programming skills in Core JAVA / J2EE or any other programming language.
  • Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, problem solving, and design patterns.
  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge in the Spring framework, Spring Data JPA, Spring MVC, Spring Security.
  • Experience with build tools like Gradle & Maven.
  • Comfortable working on Unix / Linux systems.
  • Full-time internship for 4-6 months.
