Responsibilities
- Build high-performance, globally scalable systems for Amazon's logistics.
- Design and implement large-scale, complex software systems.
- Automate and scale infrastructure as the company expands globally.
- Troubleshoot, debug, evaluate, and resolve computer-identified alarms.
- Make feature enhancements, perform software deployments and migrations.
- Develop tools and end-to-end automation for human-free operations.
- Contribute to work critical initiatives and build products.
- Communicate ideas effectively and collaborate with teams.
- Mentor other engineers and impact technical decisions in the organization.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability and scaling).
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java or Python.
- Experience with distributed systems at scale.
- High level design competencies.
- Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
