As a Software Dev Engineer II with UTR Tech in Bengaluru, you will design, implement, and deploy large-scale software systems for Amazon's Last Mile delivery network. This role involves building scalable tools to enhance associate productivity and operational quality, directly impacting customer delivery promises for programs like Same-Day Delivery and Grocery.

Responsibilities

  • Take part in the architecture, design, implementation, and deployment of large-scale and complex software systems.
  • Build and scale systems powering Amazon's fastest delivery promises (Same-Day Delivery, Grocery, Rush) across NA, EU, JP, and the Middle East.
  • Own services spanning package injection, staging, sortation, and routing.
  • Partner with product, science, and operations to launch new speed programs and expand grocery into new regions.
  • Communicate ideas effectively to achieve the right outcome for your team and customer.
  • Collaborate with others to increase the effectiveness of the overall team.
  • Mentor other engineers in the team.
  • Impact technical decisions in the broader organization.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
