This 12-month paid apprenticeship is for recent graduates looking to gain entry-level technical and professional skills in software development at Google. Responsibilities
- Learn and follow coding standards and ensure compliance with quality measures.
- Support the team in software development based on agreed projects and platforms.
- Contribute to implementation, unit testing, and integration to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Apply knowledge gained in the apprenticeship to real-world applications.
- Ensure code is tested in accordance with guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Not currently enrolled in an academic program.
- Less than 1 year of experience in software application development.
- Programming experience in at least one coding language.
- Possess an active mobile number linked with Aadhaar and an active personal email ID.
- Possess an Aadhaar-seeded bank account.
- English proficiency is a requirement.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using Google Workspace or a similar suite of productivity tools.
- Experience thinking critically and excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to learn programming languages based on project requirements.
- Ability to work independently and within a team framework.
- Ability to navigate multiple ambiguous tasks and competing priorities while finding suitable solutions and seeking help/advice where appropriate.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, self-motivated, positive attitude, and excellent customer service capabilities.
- Enthusiasm and passion for new technologies, demonstrated through personal projects and commitment to learning new skills.
