The Senior Technical Specialist will manage and optimize Snowflake, DBT, SQL, and Python processes, ensuring efficient data pipelines and data integrity. Responsibilities include developing the Snowflake environment, designing ETL processes with dbt, writing complex SQL queries, automating data processes with Python, and ensuring data security and governance.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the snowflake data cloud environment, optimizing database performance and troubleshooting issues.
Design and implement ETL processes using dbt to transform and load data into snowflake for analytics and reporting.
Write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data for various business units.
Utilize Python to automate data processes, build data pipelines, and create data visualizations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions.
Ensure data security and governance practices are followed in compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements

Proficiency in Snowflake data platform, including data warehouse design, implementation, and optimization.
Experience with dbt (data build tool) for managing data transformations and modeling.
Strong SQL skills with the ability to write and optimize complex queries.
Proficient in Python programming language for data manipulation, automation, and visualization.
Knowledge of data governance best practices and experience in implementing data security measures.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Desired Qualifications

SnowPro Core Certification (preferred).
DBT Fundamentals Certification (preferred).
