HCLTech is seeking a highly experienced Technical Team Lead for LAN, Wireless & Network Management to oversee global 24x7 operations. The role focuses on supporting and managing enterprise LAN, Wireless, and Network Management platforms within Cisco and HPE Aruba environments, ensuring operational excellence and service availability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day LAN and Wireless operational support across global locations.
  • Ensure availability, reliability, and performance of wired and wireless network services.
  • Act as L3 escalation point for critical and complex infrastructure issues.
  • Manage operational compliance with SLA and KPI targets.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams during major incidents and service disruptions.
  • Manage Cisco Catalyst Center platform services, including Inventory, Assurance, SWIM, Compliance, Policy, Automation, SDA support, API integrations, and reporting.
  • Manage Aruba Central Cloud Platform, including device onboarding, provisioning, template configuration, group/site management, AI Insights, firmware management, and monitoring.
  • Lead resolution of Priority 1, Priority 2, and Major Incidents, including technical triage, escalation, vendor coordination, and post-incident reviews.
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities and maintain the Known Error Database (KEDB).
  • Review and approve network infrastructure changes and participate in CAB reviews.
  • Identify operational, technical, and service delivery risks and maintain mitigation plans.

Requirements

  • Strong technical expertise in Cisco Catalyst Center (DNA Center), Aruba Central, Cisco Wireless, Aruba Wireless, Catalyst/Nexus switching, and HPE Aruba networking technologies.
  • Experience leading a global 24x7 Network Operations team.
  • Accountability for operational excellence, service availability, incident resolution, problem management, change governance, vulnerability remediation, software lifecycle management, CMDB governance, KPI reporting, team leadership, and continuous service improvement.
  • Experience with Cisco Catalyst 9K Series Switches, Cisco Nexus Platforms, Cisco Catalyst Center (DNA Center), SDA, and Routing and Switching Infrastructure.
  • Experience with Aruba CX Switches, HPE ComWare Switches, Aruba AOS Switching, and HPE Campus Network Infrastructure.
  • Experience with Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (9800 Series), Cisco Access Points, Cisco Mobility Services, and Cisco Wireless Assurance.
  • Experience with Aruba Central Managed WLAN, Aruba Mobility Controllers, Aruba Access Points, Aruba AirWave, and Aruba AI Insights.
  • Experience managing Cisco Catalyst Center platform services (Inventory, Assurance, SWIM, Compliance, Policy, Automation, SDA, API integrations, reporting).
  • Experience managing Aruba Central Cloud Platform (device onboarding, provisioning, template configuration, group/site management, AI Insights, firmware management, monitoring).
  • Experience in Incident Management, including leading resolution of major incidents and conducting post-incident reviews.
  • Experience in Problem Management, including RCA and KEDB maintenance.
  • Experience in Change Management, including reviewing and approving changes and participating in CAB reviews.
  • Experience in Risk Management, including identifying risks and maintaining mitigation plans.
