We are seeking an experienced SAP BASIS SME to act as the Technical Landscape Owner for SAP systems. This role involves defining complex SAP solutions, managing business transformations, and leveraging expertise in Azure cloud offerings and integration. The ideal candidate will have extensive SAP experience, strong consulting and stakeholder management skills, and a deep understanding of SAP's product strategy.
Responsibilities
- Define complex and technical SAP solutions across multiple industry sectors.
- Understand technology enablement and integration with other applications.
- Translate business challenges into ERP solutions.
- Manage business development, solution definition, and delivery management.
- Plan capability demand and develop practice/people.
- Provide client-facing consulting and influencing up to C-suite levels.
- Architect and advise on Azure cloud offerings.
- Propose and implement technical solutions.
- Ensure downtime minimized operation.
- Automate SAP landscapes.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master degree.
- 8+ years of SAP experience.
- Excellent English skills, written and spoken.
- Strong client/business-facing consultancy experience.
- Ability to manage stakeholders and work under pressure.
- Hands-on experience on Net Weaver and SAP New dimensional products.
- Deep knowledge of IaaS / PaaS solutions.
- Experience with Landscape Sizing & Design (public and private cloud).
- Experience with HA/DR architectures.
- Experience with Problem Management.
- Experience with WD setup and functionality.
- Experience with Failover / Failback mechanisms.
- Experience with Downtime minimised operation.
- Experience with Backup / data retention.
- Experience with Performance analysing and tuning.
- Azure cloud experience.
- HANA administration knowledge.
- Knowledge on ECC, BW, CAR, EWM, PI, GRC, Portal, WD.
- SAP technical operations & Security overview.
- Good understanding of automation in SAP landscapes.
- Knowledge of key technology trends.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior leadership experience, preferably within a consulting environment.
- Understanding of SAP’s product strategy, including positioning of S/4 HANA and enabling tools and complementary technologies, especially the integration to other applications.
