The Subject Matter Expert (Support & Ops) is responsible for resolving escalated incidents using AWS and Terraform best practices, mentoring team members in IaC methodologies, and validating implementation plans. This role requires strong analytical skills using Python for root cause analysis and excellent communication for customer engagement.

Responsibilities

Resolve escalated incidents by applying AWS and Terraform best practices to ensure compliance with agreed SLAs and quality standards.
Mentor team members in IaC methodologies, prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and maintain comprehensive documentation.
Validate change order implementation plans using AWS CloudFormation and Ansible to ensure adherence to Human Error Compliance.
Engage with customers during meetings to identify issues, ensuring proactive communication and positive feedback.
Conduct Root Cause and Trend Analyses using Python scripting and present detailed performance reports to key stakeholders.

Requirements

Proficient in IaC tools, specifically Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
Strong understanding of AWS services and PaaS offerings.
Experience with automation tools like Ansible.
Solid analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause and trend analyses using Python.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for stakeholder engagement.

Desired Qualifications

AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Optional but valuable).
HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate (Optional but valuable).
