We are seeking a Senior Technical Lead with extensive experience in EDI B2B, specifically IBM Sterling Integrator for production support and development. The role involves managing trading partner setups, map creation, and understanding X12 and EDIFACT transactions within the manufacturing, automotive, and logistics domains. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of Oracle ERP and B2B Gateway environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
- Conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization, and implementation of best practices and coding standards.
- Ensure process compliance in the assigned module and participate in technical discussions/reviews as a technical consultant for feasibility study.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and prepare and submit status reports.
Requirements
- Experience with EDI B2B, IBM Sterling Integrator (Production Support & Development).
- Experience in new Trading Partner setup and map creation.
- Working knowledge of X12 transactions (830, 866, 862, 810, 856, 850) and EDIFACT (DELFOR, INVOIC, DESADV, AVIEXP, DELINS) transaction sets, XML, and other common data file formats.
- Knowledge on Oracle ERP and understanding of Business process.
- Experience in monitoring EDI transactions, resolving technical & functional issues on data translation, and maintaining existing interfaces.
- Working experience in B2B Gateway environment.
- Experience in technical specification documentation, analyzing existing transactions, and knowledge on communication protocols.
- Hands-on experience in FTP script and configuration.
- Experience in different EDI file formats (ANSIX12, EDIFACT, ODETTE) and developing EDI solutions by integrating them with ERP systems.
- Experience maintaining process and trading partner documentation and improvement.
- Specialist in consulting, process documentation, and data integration.
- Ability to think conceptually, intuitively and work independently.
- Providing periodic status reports.
Desired Qualifications
- Worked on Manufacturing, Automotive and Logistics Domain.
- Working knowledge in Manufacturing industry is an advantage.
- Understanding requirement, gathering technical information, documentation, interaction with Business and Customer.
- Coordinate with IBM for any mapping changes required.
- This person will act as team coordinator testing of all EDI transaction.
- Experience maintaining process and trading partner documentation and Improvement.
- Coordinate testing and deployment activities with IBM and internal team.
- Implement EDI best practices related to Business process.
- Identify areas where technology and people can jointly bring improvements and competitive advantage.
